Just Because The Examination Shuts Off At 75 Questions Does Not Mean That You Have Automatically Failed.
The reason being that most students are going to pass the nclex (somewhere around 85%). I just received my results today for the nclex and i passed. The last one involves you gauging how you feel overall going into the exam.

If you notice on this board the people finishing with 85 pass, while most that go to 205 fail. The test ended at 85 questions. Now, everyone in my class that had 85 questions.
When I Took It, It Stopped At 85 As Well And I Passed!!
Once you have answered 75 questions, the computer compares your score with the nclex passing standard. I took the nclex today and it shut off at 75 questions this time, so i am hoping this is a good thing. It was really difficult work to sit down and work against my instincts.
